How we decided to try out life in Slovenia, leaving our French Alps. Starting with the purchase of little farm house, our dream to renovate our first new home the way we always wanted, gave place to disillusion, hurdles, and immense stress; in a word : a nightmare.
WARNING: Slovenia is a great place, but a pity about its people. We never felt so insecure, unprotected, humiliated and so on...
Fortunately there have been some exceptions, and because of the strength of our relationship and the help of a few sincere slovene friends, we are still determined after 16 months in this country to fight through and win over with our challenge... F-T-W !
